AgriFORCE Growing Systems Rebrands as AVAX One, Plans $550M Funding to Establish An AVAX Treasury

NASDAQ-listed AgriFORCE Growing Systems announced its transformation into AVAX One, planning to raise $550 million to become the first publicly traded company focused on Avalanche blockchain investments.

AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: AGRI) announced it will rebrand as AVAX One and execute a $550 million capital raise strategy to establish itself as the first publicly traded company on NASDAQ focused on the Avalanche blockchain ecosystem. The transformation marks a dramatic pivot from the company's original agricultural technology focus to crypto investments.

The rebranding initiative is led by CEO Jolie Kahn and nominated Chairman Matt Zhang, who will guide the company's transition into the digital asset space. The company plans to use the raised capital to accumulate over $700 million worth of AVAX tokens, positioning itself as a major institutional holder of Avalanche's native cryptocurrency.

AgriFORCE Growing Systems was originally founded as an agricultural technology company developing controlled environment agriculture solutions. The company has been publicly traded on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol AGRI, with a current market valuation of approximately $3.16 million. The dramatic business model shift represents one of the most significant corporate transformations in the crypto space this year.

The $550 million funding target would represent a substantial increase from the company's current market capitalization, indicating plans for significant dilution or alternative financing structures. The company has not disclosed specific details about the funding mechanism or timeline for completing the capital raise.

This announcement comes as institutional adoption of crypto continues to expand, with more traditional companies exploring blockchain investments. The Avalanche network has gained traction as an Ethereum alternative, offering faster transaction speeds and lower fees for decentralized applications.

The transformation follows AgriFORCE's previous ventures into crypto mining, having announced successful Bitcoin mining operations in Alberta and Ohio earlier in 2025. The company mined over five Bitcoin within six months, demonstrating its existing involvement in the digital asset sector before the full pivot to Avalanche focus.
