OSL Group and CMGE Partnered to Advance Stablecoin Applications in Gaming and Virtual Entertainment

The collaboration aligns with broader trends in the gaming and blockchain industries, where stablecoins are increasingly viewed as a solution to streamline payments, reduce transaction costs, and enhance user experiences.

OSL Group (HKG: 0863), a leading digital asset financial services provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with CMGE (China Mobile Games and Entertainment Group, HKG: 0302), a prominent Chinese gaming company. The collaboration aims to integrate OSL's compliant virtual asset financial infrastructure with CMGE's global IP gaming ecosystem to promote the use of stablecoins in gaming payments and real-world economic applications. As part of the agreement, OSL will provide CMGE with compliant digital asset custody solutions and a unified settlement layer tool that supports multi-chain and multi-currency transactions.

The partnership will connect OSL’s stablecoin service network, designed for financial institutions, with CMGE’s payment scenarios. This integration is expected to accelerate the adoption of compliant stablecoins in the digital entertainment sector and related industries. By bridging virtual asset technologies with gaming ecosystems, the two companies aim to create new opportunities for seamless transactions and broader applications of stablecoins.

CMGE is a major player in the gaming industry, known for its focus on mobile gaming and its extensive portfolio of intellectual property-based games. The company has been expanding its global footprint, leveraging popular IPs to create immersive gaming experiences. Meanwhile, OSL Group, headquartered in Hong Kong, is recognized for its robust and regulated digital asset services, catering to institutional clients and offering trading, custody, and tokenization solutions.

The collaboration aligns with broader trends in the gaming and blockchain industries, where stablecoins are increasingly viewed as a solution to streamline payments, reduce transaction costs, and enhance user experiences. The use of stablecoins in gaming ecosystems also opens doors to cross-border transactions and financial inclusion for players worldwide.
