Upbit Records 26% Surge in 24-Hour Trading Volume, XRP Leads the Pack

Top 5 tokens on South Korean exchange dominated by XRP, WAL, BTC, GAME, and LAYER.

According to data from CoinGecko, Upbit has experienced a significant 26.0% increase in trading volume over the past 24 hours, reaching $1.714 billion. The South Korean cryptocurrency exchange saw particularly strong activity across several key tokens.

XRP emerged as the dominant asset on the platform, accounting for 21.97% of the total trading volume with transactions worth $377 million. Following behind, Walrus (WAL) captured 6.5% of trading activity at $111.4 million, while Bitcoin (BTC) secured the third position with 5.95% market share and $102 million in trading volume.

Rounding out the top five most actively traded tokens were GameBuild (GAME) at 5.4% ($92.6 million) and Solayer (LAYER) at 5.25% ($90.1 million).
