A new wave of innovation has emerged from the Solana Breakout Hackathon, the largest crypto hackathon to date. Organized by Colosseum and the Solana Foundation, this global competition has officially announced its winners on July 2, setting the stage for the next generation of blockchain breakthroughs.
The event, hosted by Colosseum and the Solana Foundation, brought together over 10,000 participants from more than 140 countries, resulting in 1,412 project submissions. The hackathon focused on six key tracks, each spotlighting different areas of innovation within the Solana ecosystem.
The hackathon featured ten prize categories, recognizing excellence across specific tracks, special awards, and an overall grand champion. Below are the standout winners from each category who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on Solana.
Grand Champion: TapeDrive

The winning team, TapeDrive, led by a solo builder known as ZEL (@zelimir), received $50,000 USDC and passes to attend Breakpoint 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
TapeDrive is a Solana-native storage network that makes it easy to read and write data on Solana at a cost more than 1,400 times cheaper than using a traditional account. It compresses data into small on-chain proofs called tapes. Each tape is split into segments and written to Solana using writing instructions.

A decentralized network of miners stores these segments locally. Every minute, miners solve unique proof-of-access challenges to prove they have the correct data, ensuring it remains accessible and secure. Miners are rewarded in TAPE tokens, which have a capped supply of 7 million and a decaying emission rate of approximately 15% per year to encourage long-term participation.
Unlike systems that rely on side-chains or additional consensus layers, TapeDrive operates fully on Solana, offering fast, cost-efficient, and censorship-resistant storage. It helps preserve digital content against data loss, censorship, and platform lock-in.
Consumer Track Winner: Trepa
Trepa won first place in the Consumer Track, receiving $25,000 in USDC.

Trepa is a sentiment prediction mobile app where users stake on how the crowd will vote on polarizing issues, emphasizing emotional intelligence (EQ) over traditional knowledge (IQ). Trepa pioneers sentiment prediction pools that pay out based on accuracy.
Unlike traditional prediction markets that offer no additional reward for accuracy beyond choosing the correct side, Trepa introduces "precision predictions", where users are rewarded based on how close their predictions are to the actual outcome, down to the decimal.
Trepa uses a scoring algorithm that compares each prediction to the final result. Higher accuracy earns higher rewards, making the system fairer, more transparent, and focused on real foresight. The app hosts questions across categories like prices, inflation rates, payroll numbers, and exchange rates, which are key financial and economic metrics that can move markets.
DeFi Track Winner: Vanish
Vanish won first place in the DeFi Track, earning $25,000 in USDC.

Vanish is a high-speed, Solana-native privacy solution built for seamless integration. It offers an easy-to-use API that any swap-based protocol can adopt, expanding private trading across the Solana ecosystem.
Unlike traditional DEXs and non-Solana privacy tools, Vanish provides permissionless listing, clean execution, and compliance-friendly traceability without using mixers or added noise. It delivers fast and private trade while keeping users fully in control.
AI Track Winner: Latinum
Latinum won first place in the AI Track, receiving $25,000 in USDC.
Latinum is a payment middleware that enables MCP builders to receive payments. Although developers have built thousands of MCP servers in recent months, there was no way to monetize them. Latinum solves this by providing an MCP-compatible wallet that allows agents to pay directly for the services they use.
For example, when using a tool like Cursor that relies on multiple services such as Figma or deployment platforms, users would typically need to register for each service, set up individual subscriptions, and manually configure API keys. Latinum removes this friction by allowing agents to manage their own budgets and make payments independently.
Latinum simplifies the process, supporting the future where agents will handle tasks like ordering groceries or booking rides on behalf of users.
Infrastructure Track Winner: FluxRPC
FluxRPC won first place in the Infrastructure Track, receiving $25,000 in USDC.

Flux RPC is the first Solana RPC that fully separates from the validator layer, unlocking real-time block data, lightning-fast transaction delivery, and isolated performance. Heavy usage by one user will not slow down others. It also offers the most cost-efficient RPC on Solana, with simple, bandwidth-based pricing instead of complex credit systems.
Flux RPC is designed for scale, speed, and reliability. Flux RPC provides faster reads, writes, and confirmations, enabling earlier executions, reduced slippage, smarter automation, and consistent fills.
Gaming Track Winner: Crypto Fantasy League (CFL)
Crypto Fantasy League (CFL) won first place in the Gaming Category, receiving $25,000 in USDC.
CFL is fantasy sports for crypto tokens, where players draft token squads and compete in PvP based on real-time market movements. Powered by MagicBlock and built for Solana Mobile, CFL brings fun and engagement to crypto index investing, which is often seen as too financial, abstract, or boring.
CFL transforms the index concept into a game, turning tokens into players. Each token performs like a player on the field, and your strategy and timing determine the outcome.

Stablecoins Track Winner: Cargo Bill
CargoBill won first prize in the Stablecoins Category, receiving $25,000 in USDC.
CargoBill is a stablecoin payments platform for the supply chain that enables fast, cost-efficient, and reliable logistics payments. It allows businesses to execute real-world payments in seconds, cut transaction costs by half, improve liquidity, and earn cashback on operational expenses using non-custodial multisig business wallets on Solana.
CargoBill helps companies protect against currency fluctuations and enables seamless global payments with instant onramps, offramps, US-based bank accounts, and debit cards. Support for stablecoin yield and short-term financing is coming soon.
It offers fast, versatile payment processing that integrates with shipment information across timezones and transaction sizes.
DePIN Track Winner: Decen Space
Decen Space won first prize in the DePIN Track, receiving $25,000 in USDC.
Decen Space makes satellite communication cheaper and more accessible. The platform connects satellite companies with a global network of individuals, institutions, and businesses that own ground station antennas. Anyone with the right equipment can join the network and earn rewards by supporting satellite data transmission.
Decen Space uses distributed marketplace technology to bring satellite operators and ground stations together, aiming to build a sustainable, growing marketplace that benefits all participants through long-term commitment.
The space industry struggles with expensive, limited, and underutilized ground station access. Decen Space was built to solve this challenge by creating an open marketplace that improves satellite communication and rewards participation.

University Award: OpenSOL
OpenSOL won the University Award, receiving $10,000 in USDC for the best university-led project across all tracks.
