Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has made a significant transfer of 274.1 ETH (approximately $500,000) to a smart contract deployed by Zuitzerland project developer 1sla.eth, according to blockchain analyst Onchain Lens. The transaction has fueled speculation that the funds may be intended as a donation or financial support for the Zuitzerland initiative.

Zuitzerland is an ambitious network-state sandbox inspired by Switzerland's democratic traditions and powered by Web3 technologies and decentralized governance principles. The project aims to serve as a prototype platform for societal innovation, bringing together leading thinkers, builders, and technologists from fields such as Web3, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, brain-computer interfaces (BCI), privacy, and cryptography.
